Material Preparation & Submission

Please ensure all required materials are fully prepared before submitting. Incomplete materials may affect production scheduling.

All submitted photographs and voice materials are used solely for this project. Upon completion, materials may be deleted upon request.

Project & Photo Descriptions

Please prepare a brief overview, including: a) the reason for creating this film; b) general background information (time range, people involved and their relationships, or the stage/event the film centers on).

For each photo, add a short caption (1–2 sentences; leave blank if you’re not sure): a) what happened before this moment; b) what was happening at the time; c) what happened afterward.

Photographic Materials
  • Please prepare 8–15 narrative photos (scans or digital files).
  • For the same scene, you may submit 2–3 alternates (different angles/moments).
  • If restoration is needed for older photos, please indicate this in advance.

If you choose to have your digital avatar appear in the film, please provide reference photos for modeling purposes. In most cases, photos taken with a smartphone are sufficient, provided the following basic requirements are met:

Please take the photos in an evenly lit, unobstructed environment. Ensure the face is clearly visible, without strong shadows or overexposure. Natural daylight or soft indoor lighting is recommended. Avoid backlighting.

Please provide photos from the following angles:

  • Front-facing half-body photo
  • Left-side full-body photo
  • Right-side full-body photo
  • Back-facing full-body photo

When taking the photos, maintain a natural standing posture. Avoid exaggerated facial expressions or poses. Do not use filters or beauty-enhancement features. The goal is to ensure accurate representation.

Voice Sample
  • Length: at least 30 seconds
  • You may use a smartphone recording or an existing audio clip
  • Record in a quiet environment to avoid background noise
  • It is recommended to review our reference text beforehand and speak naturally

When recording, keep the phone approximately 15–20 cm from your mouth to avoid distortion or overly low volume. Turn off televisions, appliances, or other sources of interference, and avoid noticeable echo.

The following paragraph is provided as a reference for voice sample recording. Please read it several times to become familiar with the content. During recording, try to speak naturally without reading directly from the script. Minor variations or pauses are acceptable.

Reference Text:

I am speaking now in a natural tone, maintaining a steady pace without intentionally slowing down or overemphasizing words.
In everyday conversation, we naturally have slight pauses and variations in intonation, which is normal.
When recording, simply maintain natural expression; there is no need to aim for perfection.
If you make a small mistake, you may continue speaking without restarting.
What matters most is that your tone remains natural and consistent, allowing the voice to sound authentic.
